Acetylacetone substituted tetrathiafulvalenes: towards new redox active ligands

A simple synthesis of novel ligands containing tetrathiafulvalenes (TTF) is reported. These compounds have been prepared by introducing an acetylacetone coordination function on the preformed donor core.
