Code approaches to vortex shedding and own model

The analysis of lateral response of tower-like structures of circular cross-sections due to vortex excitation is considered in this paper. Calculations are carried out according to own mathematical model of vortex shedding and with utilization of own computer program that is an implementation of the model. Maximum top displacements are compared with results obtained according to several well-known standard models and also with full-scale measurements.
