Abstract :
A synthesis of novel hexa-host molecules 1 and 2 by a Pd/Cu-catalyzed cross coupling reaction of the hexakis(4-iodophenoxymethyl)benzene 9 with the corresponding acetylenes 11 or 12 is described.
