Abstract :
The first report of alkoxy and amino mercuration of alkenes on solid-phase is reported. The organomercurial has been transformed into alkanes, iodo ethers and Giese adducts in good yield. Cleavage by mild acid treatment released the product from the solid-support in excellent purity.
