Abstract :
Efficient synthesis of l-α-phosphatidyl-d-myo-inositol 3,5-bisphosphate was achieved from 1,2,5,6-diisopropylidene-d-glucose by utilizing ring-closing metathesis and catalytic OsO4 dihydroxylation.
