Abstract :
Imination of carbonyl compounds, containing electron donor groups, with trifluoromethylsulfonyl isocyanate to give the corresponding N-trifluoromethylsulfonylimino derivatives causes a strong bathochromic shift in their UV absorption maxima amounting to 150–200 nm.
