Lewis acid promoted alkynylation of imines with terminal alkynes: simple, mild and efficient preparation of propargylic amines

A mild and efficient addition of terminal alkynes to imines in the presence of ZnCl2, Et3N and TMSCl gives propargylamines in good yields.
