Abstract :
The dicationic bis(4-N-methylpyridiniumoxy)phthalocyaninatosilicon(IV) has been synthesised and examined for its photodynamic activities towards HepG2 and J774 cancer cell lines; the photocytotoxicity is greatly enhanced by complexation with bovine serum albumin.
