Abstract :
The use of 2,6-dicarboxypyridinium chlorochromate (2,6-DCPCC) as a new, rapid, efficient, and selective reagent for the oxidative deprotection of oximes to their corresponding carbonyl compounds in acetonitrile at ambient temperature is described.
