Abstract :
The present work is devoted to studying the influence of the application of the different physical fields of magnetic field and microwave field during the preparation process of Mg2Ni hydrogen storage alloys on its physicochemical properties including thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics, hydrogen absorption/desorption properties, phase composition and morphology. The advantage and disadvantage of the two different preparation methods were discussed and the possible reasons for the effect of the external physical field on the hydrogenation properties of the alloy were analyzed.
