Abstract :
Novel oligoenynes and oligomeric conjugated diacetylenes have been synthesized via a new Pd/Cu-catalyzed reaction scheme. This Sonogashira-style preparation of oligoenynes has complementary properties to previously published procedures via ionic intermediates.
