Solid-phase synthesis of new fused tetra, penta and hexacyclic β-carboline derivatives

The parallel synthesis of new fused tetra, penta and hexacyclic β-carbolines via the functionalization of resin-bound tetrahydro-β-carboline derivatives is described. Reduction of the amide bonds and/or nitro group is the key step in the formation of different described fused heterocycles.
