Abstract :
Allyl indium, prepared from allyl bromide and indium metal in aprotic solvent, reacts with terminal vinyl epoxides at room temperature to afford various bishomoallyl alcohols in moderate to high yields via consecutive 1,2-shift reaction and regioselective allylation.
