Abstract :
Based on quantitative 1H NMR and 2H NMR techniques, a quantitative method of direct determination of deuterium concentration in water was proposed and validated. This is a simple, rapid, and sensitive method, with minimum sample preparation. The detection range of the proposed method was from natural abundance to nearly 100%, thus satisfying multiple analysis requirements.
