Finite element simulation of electrochemical ac diffusional impedance. Application to recessed microdiscs

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy experiments have been simulated using a finite element method in a complex plane. The specific ac response behaviour of recessed microdisc electrodes is investigated and compared to analytical experiments.
