Comment on the paper “The role of HBF4 in electro-catalysis: Arsenic contamination and anion adsorption” by A.L. Santos, R. Nagao, C.P. Oliveira, R.B. de Lima, H. Varela [J. Electroanal. Chem. 660 (2011) 147–152]

In their study on effects of arsenic in fluoroboric acid on formic acid oxidation, Santos et al. claim we make a number of claims and suggestions. We did not make these claims and suggestions.
