Dynamic investigations on the reconstruction of the O/Cu(110) surface

An empirical tight-binding molecular-dynamics (ETBMD) simulation of the O/Cu(110) system has been performed. In the present work we used terrace structures on the surface which are considered to approach those of the real case. It is shown that the reconstruction structure is in good agreement with the results obtained by experiments. The formations of added rows and buckled rows are also included.
