Abstract :
The structure of selected special (Σ=5) symmetrical tilt grain boundaries in Ni3Al with tilt axis [1 0 0] was simulated by the Monte Carlo method. Vacancies were generated both in Al and Ni sites in their relaxed structure and the vacancy formation and migration energy was estimated.
