Abstract
The 3d core levels photoemission spectra of Rh(100) show linear magnetic dichroism in angular distribution (LMDAD) upon reversing the magnetic field in chiral experiments only when a small residual magnetic field is left applied to the sample. The intensity of the LMDAD effect does not depend on the magnitude of the applied residual field, but it saturates for very weak field intensities.
