Abstract :
In many industries, powdered materials are conveyed pneumatically, and it is often desirable to measure the mass flow rate of solid while it is in the gas–solid mixture state. The method described was developed on base parallel measurement of velocity of solid and pressure drop. A theoretical model was defined and later validated by experiment.
