Abstract :
Polyesteramide and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) were blended in the melt at various ratios, and their dispersion in the blend was investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The tensile properties, the low-temperature flexibility, and the adhesion properties of the blend were studied. When the EVA content in the blend is more than 80%, the two components of the blend are miscible, leading to excellent tensile strength, elongation at break, and low-temperature flexibility of the blend.
