Abstract
The deposition behavior of coal and rice straw co-combustion was studied at a different reaction time of 1200°C. The deposition was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron microprobes in the 18 kW drop-tube furnace. The results show that Si, Al, and Ca of deposition exhibit a slight change with regard to the different mixing ratio or different reaction time. The K-feldspar stickability of surfaces makes it easier for deposition as well as makes the depositsʹ structure more stable. Aluminum silicate and Fe play an important role in the deposition process.
