Abstract :
The dynamical structure factor which reflects the behavior of hopping ions is theoretically investigated in random superionic conductors on the basis of the relaxation mode theory: the relaxation modes have been able to interpret the universal behavior of ionic conductivity found by Nowick et al. and anomalous diffusions experimentally obtained in ion conduction systems. Especially in this paper, the spin-lattice relaxation time T1 is studied in association with ion motion in four temperature regimes. It is clearly shown there that the mechanism of the non-BPP behavior originates in the diffusive and nondiffusive relaxation modes. Also made clear is the relation between the T1 behavior and the conductivity.
