Abstract :
A large number of 3,5-diketoesters have been synthesized by an immobilized lipase-catalyzed transesterification reaction. Excellent yields and chemoselectivity were observed. The immobilized lipase could be reused without significant loss of activity up to three reaction cycles. The same enzyme system has been used for resolution of secondary alcohols. Overall good chemical and optical yield were observed.
