Abstract :
The ionic conductivity of the α-AgI-stabilized composite and homogeneous glass of AgI–Ag2O–MoO3 system was measured in the temperature range from 100 to 340 K. The α-AgI-stabilized composite type-B shows the progressive change of activation energy at 273 K, which is attributed to the order–disorder transition in the α-AgI crystal. The conductivity of glass exhibits the bending in wide temperature range, which was analyzed by Vogel–Tamman–Fulcher equation. The calculated value is in excellent agreement with the experimental data.
