Abstract :
Vitrification and transport properties measurements for (AgBr)x(As2Se3)1−x glasses have been carried out in order to investigate the ion conduction phenomena of these systems. Glass samples were successfully obtained in a composition range of 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.65. The addition of AgBr leads these systems to an exponential increase of electrical conductivity. The ionic component of the electrical conductivity is dominant in highly AgBr-doped glasses. The vitrification brings the fast ion conduction to the present glass systems.
