Abstract :
The results of experimental and theoretical studies thermal and dynamic processes in annular channels with a coolant for conditions of pulse heating in an annular thermal heater are presented. Experiments were also conducted for a pool of water subcooled relative to the saturation temperature at an initial pressure of 0.1-0.3 MPa. A theoretical model of the process was proposed that can be used to calculate the nonstalionary temperature field at the wall and in the medium, and also the structure of the shock pressure wave that arises in the coolant.
