Abstract :
The collective motion of the globally coupled maps driven by the external noise is investigated when the number of the maps is finite. A simplest collective motion for the globally coupled maps is found by controlling the noise strength. The dimension of the collective motion exhibits a minimum as a function of the external noise strength when the collective motion is the simplest.
