Inspection of the Condition of the Metal at the Thermal Power Stations of Estonia

Inspection procedures for metals working under conditions of creep are discussed. These procedures enable us to find the distribution of stresses in different pieces of equipment, as well as lo evaluate the cumulative failure rate and to determine the place, time, and amount of microsamples or penetration images taken for a metallographic analysis to estimate the actual condition of the metal.
