Abstract :
The process control system (PCS) "FAKEL" used for controlling the burner assemblies of a TGMN-314 steam boiler installed at cogeneration power station TETs-23 ofMosenergo is considered. Basic schematic, design, and engineering decisions were developed along with algorithms and programs for controlling these units. Ways for retrofitting the system were found that simplify its structure, increase its speed, and reduce its cost.
