Abstract :
Four years of operating experience with "Oksid" gas analyzers at Tyumen cogeneration power station TETs-1 is described. These gas analyzers are used for the continuous monitoring of emissions of NOx into the atmosphere. Such monitoring enables the operators to keep track of the environmental characteristics of the process of fuel combustion. Continuous measurement of the concentration of the nitrogen oxide in the flue gases make it possible to go from calculations of the gross annual emissions of NOx to determining them from the actual concentrations of nitrogen oxide in the boilers.
