Abstract
A technique for welding pipes made of high-strength cast iron with spheroidal graphite (HCISG), which are manufactured in Russia according to a technology of the French firm Pont-a-Musson was developed for the first time in world practice. The technical characteristics of these pipes allow them to be used in constructing pipelines for a coolant at a pressure of up to 16 MPa and a temperature of up to 150°C.
