Higher Engineering Education for Power Machinery Manufacturing in Russia

Attention is drawn to the shortcomings of the system of higher engineering education in Russia which was initially formed when the economy of the country was planned. Corrections in the processes of education and upbringing are proposed. They are considered to be necessary for engineers to work successfully in a market economy.
