Inspection of the State of the Metal in the Bends of High-Temperature Pipelines at Izhevsk Cogeneration Power Station No. 2

Experience in the diagnostics of microdamage to the structure of the metal of the bends in hightemperature steam pipelines at Izhevsk cogeneration power station no. 2 is generalized. It was proved that an inspection, which consists of measurements of creep flow and the velocity of supersonic waves, as well as of estimates of the density of the micropores in all the bends of a steam pipeline, increases the reliability of the prediction of its residual service life.
