The Additional Capacity Obtained in Transferring Power Units to the Scheme of Power Units of Enhanced Efficiency

A condensing power unit with a K-300 turbine and a cogeneration power unit with a T-250 turbine serve as examples in estimating the cost of the additional capacity that is obtained in changing over to the scheme of power units of enhanced efficiency (PUEE). Also, an estimate is given of the specific fuel expenditures for this additional capacity. The high efficiency of selling this additional capacity to obtain means for investing into retrofitting of the power units is shown.
