Abstract :
The shift of the Curie temperature of CrO2 with pressure was determined by ac-susceptibility measurements under hydrostatic pressure up to 5 GPa. These experiments show that ferromagnetism of CrO2 is suppressed at a rate d T c / d P = − 4.4 K / GPa , which is close to recent theoretical estimates.
