Development of Methods for Preventing Internal Corrosion of Pipelines in the Heat-Supply System of OAO Rostovenergo

The influence of the water chemistry of the Rostov heat-supply system of OAO Rostovenergo on the vulnerability to failure of the pipelines due to internal corrosion and on the structure and composition of the deposits on the internal surface of the pipes is discussed. The efficiency of using various corrosion inhibitors for operating conditions of the heat-supply system was studied. The influence of organic substances on the corrosive activity of the network water was investigated.
