Abstract
Summary
portance of physical activity to maintain a healthy psychological functions is widely known. The present study involved 15 males affected by senile dementia of Alzheimer type (SDAT) and assessed their functional capabilities by means of the following neuropsychological tests: test of attentional matrix, verbal span test, supraverbal span test, mini mental state examination. After an exercise training program of 3 months, patients were assessed again by the same psychological tests which demonstrated a significant improvement.
