Abstract :
V O2 nanosheets and petaloid clusters have been selectively prepared via a facile solvothermal method. The V O2 nanosheets were obtained from commercial V 2O5 and absolute EtOH, while the petaloid clusters from self-synthesized V 2O5 and absolute EtOH. Both the series products were calcined at different temperatures (613–773 K) under a high purity N2 (99.999%) atmosphere to obtain V O2 (M) which exhibited a strong crystallographic transition around 341 K.
