Abstract
A survey will be given on selected experiments showing evidence of quantum transport in carbon nanotubes. The phenomena involve electron confinement, single electron effects and Coulomb–Blockade, Kondo-physics, conductance quantisation, Aharonov–Bohm effect, phase breaking in ballistic transport, and magnetochiral anisotropy.
