Abstract :
Aniline was oxidized with ammonium peroxydisulfate in aqueous medium comprising polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene oxide) micelles. The colloidal polyaniline particles were characterized by dynamic light scattering and by optical spectra. The effect of monomer/micelle concentration ratio, acidity of the medium and reaction temperature on the colloidal stability of polymerization products were investigated.
