Abstract :
13C CP/MAS NMR indicates that piperazine forms a hydrogen bond with the C7OH group of genistein. The hydroxyl proton is transferred to the piperazine nitrogen atom. It is shown that the I–I*–S model of the polarization transfer in isolated spin clusters is also valid for quaternary carbon atoms.
