Photoluminescence of flavonolatobis(triphenylphosphine)copper(I)

The complex CuI(fla)(PPh3)2 with fla−=flavonolate shows luminescence at room temperature which originates from the flavonolate ligand. This emission consists of a fluorescence (λmax=595 nm,τ=9.8 ns) and a phosphorescence (λmax=810 nm,τ=1.2 μs).
