Abstract :
Contrary to the theoretical results presented by El-Nahas et al. (Chem. Phys. Lett. 318 (2000) 333), we believe new experiments on [Cu·(H2O)n]2+ and [Cu·(NH3)n]2+ complexes suggest their minimum stable sizes are [Cu·(H2O)3]2+ and [Cu·(NH3)2]2+, respectively.
