Cross sections of electron impact ionization of ethylene

The cross sections of the direct as well as the dissociative electron impact ionization of ethylene have been measured for electron energies from the threshold to 600 eV. The complete collection of the ionic fragments has been verified directly in the experiment. The total cross section values from the present work have been compared with previous experimental results. All the data generally show excellent agreement.
