Abstract :
The ground-state rotational Zeeman splittings of trifluorophosphine have been reanalyzed taking into account the relativistic Stark effect. Negative signs of the g-values have been found detecting the ΔMJ=1 and ΔMJ=−1 absorptions of circularly polarized microwave radiation separately in a longitudinal magnetic field. The g-values obtained are g⊥=−(0.0663±0.0012) and g‖=−(0.0470±0.0020) and the susceptibility anisotropy is ξ‖−ξ⊥=−2.26(33)10−29 JT−2. g‖ deviates significantly from a previous experimental result. Analysis of the (000011) rovibrational Zeeman effect has led to a negative vibrational g-factor, g4=−0.0722(50).
