Relaxation of rotational states at collisions. Evaluation of some sums involving 3j- and 6j-symbols

The transfer of population, orientation and alignment in rotationally inelastic collisions is considered within the infinite order sudden approximation. A method allowing one to obtain analytical expressions for certain sums involving 3j- and 6j-symbols has been described.
