New emission spectra of KrXe+ produced from Kr afterglow reactions of Xe

When Xe was added to a Kr flowing afterglow, two new emission systems were observed in the 600–670 and 670–685 nm regions, besides the known C2 12 → X 12 transition of KrXe+ in the 450–495 nm region. They were ascribed to the B 12 → X 12 and C1 32 → A1 32 transitions of KrXe+, respectively. The molecular constants of the C1 32 and A1 32 states of KrXe+ have been determined on the basis of a vibrational analysis of the latter transition.
