Abstract :
Complete NMR resolution of SiOSi and SiOAl species in an aluminosilicate glass (NaAlSi3O8) is shown using 17O multiple quantum magic angle spinning (MAS) NMR and indicates that no AlOAl is present at the detection limit of 0.5%.
