Problems and scope of spiral algorithms and spiral codes for polyhedral cages

We give the smallest non-spiral members and some numbers of non-spiral members for various classes of polyhedra and discuss the consequences of the growing number of non-spiral polyhedra for the use of spiral algorithms and spiral codes.
